Who we are
Tempworker Australia & International（TAI）is a group of union people and activists. We are supported by Industrial Workers of the World in Australia（IWW）. We want to help temp workers who are under labor-hire company and bad employers. Either you're facing under-paid problem or being sacked for ridiculous reasons, we are willing to help you. Let's fight for what we deserved and help everyone get a decent job and live a decent life.
What we are thinking
As nowadays more and more employers tend to get workers from labor-hire company, give out temporary contracts, using ABN to avoid employers' responsibility, we want to fight back. We are opposed to these kinds of flexible working conditions and demanding a dignified working condition. Flexible work attacks not only labor rights but also dignity as a human being. Instead of standing for its people, most of the time government sees nothing other than profit and political power that it stands next to corporations and tycoons. Workers can only rely on themselves. Dignity and our rightful pay only comes when workers are united.
